KIWANI, el olvidado arte de lavar los pies

Now I am going to tell you a story...
… the story of a wondrous jewel that from the beginning of the times was known in ancient China by various wise men, alchemists and seekers.

From then on it kept travelling around this planet Earth, visiting different cultures, stopping in the hands of different wise ones of Love and compassion helping human beings to liberate, heal and grow.

Now, let’s see: Where does this jewel come from?

All the cultures always had some great tool for awakening of the people, a tool of liberation that used to be found by seekers and wise ones.

The origins of this jewel are lost in the oblivion of the human race.
From the beginning of the times that we remember there were different people that dedicated themselves to the quest for a real way out of the suffering, a way out that would be universal and valid for all the people, of different races, beliefs, casts, rich and poor...

All these wise people, wise in Love and compassion, knew that all the mankind has the same right;all the people have right for justice, love, brotherhood, happiness, transformation.

Since then, they used to meet and discuss and search for this universal way out of the suffering, in other words, all that that hinders us to have a clearer and broader vision of a human being. This was happening in various cultures across many centuries.

Various wise ones of the past worked and experimented with this jewel, the most well-known are Apollo of Greece, Jesus Christ or the prophet Mohammad.

This jewel turned into an art, the ancient and mythical art of foot washing, and nowadays you can call it “the forgotten art of foot washing”.

We also should remember that in different moments of the history this art was tarnished, hidden and adulterated.

Now, we, different travellers and pilgrims, in gratitude to all the merits that it keeps giving us, are ready to share it because this tool should be carried on with purity, and neither ignorance nor egoism should tarnish it the way it had happened in the past.

What is this jewel?

They say that this wondrous jewel was first practiced with in the ancient China, in the culture of the celestial man.
Since then the Chinese wise men realized that through a contact with our feet a person can readjust, balance, cure himself… and reach his or her own reality.

The feet contain all the registers and the experiences of our complete existence, our behaviour patterns, beliefs… and at the same time all the human abilities and the potential are also registered in our feet. Through them we can work towards the purification and alchemy.

And so it has been since then among different cultures, such as the Essenians, the Copt Christians, the Shaolin monks, the Aztecs, etc., and with various wise people that came to this planet in different moments of time.

For example, in India one can see Krishna’s feet being washed, and some hands are seen touching the feet of the god Shiva. Likewise, the Hopi Indians and the native Siberians used to welcome their guests washing their feet.

All the wise ones of the past and the present always used to leave us simple and easy to use tools, accessible to any human being.

Now, “I”, as a traveller, a seeker and an investigator, am asking myself:

“Knowing that all the greatest wise ones achieved their self-realization through the feet, why don’t we, people, hear, see, listen… and take an example of these prominent figures… why do we complicate our lives with difficult and limited jobs, losing our time?”

It is clear! The answer is in your feet.

Through them we can obtain the understanding of the human being and do together a job for the common good.

This was a short explanation about the origin of this wondrous jewel.

Now that we already know something about where it comes from, let’s talk about the most important, that is: Where does this tool, this art take you?

In the first place, you need to know that it shall take you to purification and cleanse you from all the ignorance by working with and activating Love energy through your feet.

Working in this direction, activating yourself weekly shall help you to sweep and shake out all the ignorance, misfortune and pain.

The way, as many wise ones have already told us, is the purification, which in fact is understanding of your past experiences.

With a continuous practice of this tool the knots and the tensions become undone. The practice is not limited to anybody in particular but can be applied universally, because all of us, people, have the same problems.

Persons of different creeds and cultures have experienced the benefits of this technique without any conflict with their beliefs or ideas.

The process of self-purification and transformation is never easy and one has to work hard and with dedication, but if one is sincere in one’s effort one shall eventually draw conclusions.

Those that don’t feel prepared to put an effort in will lose their time!

Although this journey could be a life-long one, it is recommended to practice this massage weekly at least during the first two years.

Further on we shall talk about some people that cannot commit themselves as seriously as some therapists or physicians could do, but that can also share the merits and the benefits of this tool.

I wish to all the people that sincerely seek liberation and that want to serve the others the good luck to find a noble, decent person, one with a clean heart; a traveller that would have made some firm steps on this way in order for them to learn this art with clarity, wisdom and compassion, and so to be able to make a good use of it from the very beginning of the experience on the way of Love and compassion where going back is not an option.

Since then the human being has travelled all around the world, has tried religions, philosophies, arts and therapies; he has discovered this, that and the other – and yet he has lost his time and is yet unable to discover himself and to look inside of himself.

As a finishing point, I am going to tell you a story – A Story About The God Brahma

Many ages ago the human being challenged the very gods. Brahma, the lord of the gods, decided to give him a lesson and called for a tribunal of semi-gods telling them:
”The human being deviated from the road of Love and happiness, so we have to give him a little lesson”.

The tribunal of semi-gods met and then told the Lord Brahma:“Let’s hide Love and happiness of the humans below the earth so they won’t find it”.

But Lord Brahma replied: “The human being is very smart and he shall find it”.

The semi-gods gathered again and then came back to Brahma: “Then let’s hide the Love and happiness of the man in the deepest of the ocean”.

And Brahma replied: “Sooner or later the human being will reach the bottom of the ocean and he shall find it”.

Again, the semi-gods met and then told Brahma, the great lord: “We can hide Love and happiness of the human race in the stars”.

Brahma answered: “The human being shall look in all the corners, won’t leave a stone unturned, and sooner or later he shall find it.
The only place that the human shall never think of is the deepest of his own self. He shall never dare to look for it there”.
