Hello! This is my experience with “The Art of Foot Washing”:
I have been practicing and sharing it with some people trying to be modest and to convey the essence of service that Libre (Free), the author, imparts to us through his “Book of Life”.
Of all the experiences that the tool has given me the one that I would consider the most important is the joy of my soul at realizing that our teacher, Jesus, came to teach us unconditional Love.
The work with this art carries me to experience something that He never tired of saying: “Love your near ones as you love yourself”.
I didn’t have to study the Bible nor to go to Tibet in order to experience Love and to realize in this very moment what is Christ-like Love in me which is to be one with Him.
As you already know the experience is always a mystery full of surprises; sometimes it presents you with precious moments of peace and relaxation, sometimes only an opportunity of service, other times, it is a real movie of some past life experience, and yet some other times I experience the feelings of the other person. In short, the tool always gives you something... always something magic and surprising.
I hope to have expressed in this story what I feel and experience.

I learnt about the foot washing and massage in a workshop conducted by Toño in Mexico. Then I offered it to my sister Consuelo that was sick with cancer and she accepted it.
Because of a tumour in the tongue my sister had a part of it amputated due to which she had to be fed through a tube.
She was in pain and she was injected morphine to get at least some relief. The pain was very severe and the medicine provided only slight relief.
When I was giving her foot massage she used to relax, calm down and little by little was falling asleep which lasted two or three hours. I would walk quietly out of the room and let her sleep.
This happened every time during the massage. My sister liked it because she felt loved, accompanied and could have some rest from pain.
I kept giving her massages from May to the day of her death, in September 2006.
This last day she stopped talking and it seemed as if she weren’t already here. Nevertheless, when I was next to her she told me: “Please give me the pain relieving injection and give me my foot massage”. And she made herself comfortable so I could do it.
I gave her the massage and she fell asleep again. This time she didn’t wake up. In six hours after having received her last massage she stopped breathing and died in complete peace and calm. I was in peace, too, despite the pain.

Well, from my humble experience which I believe to be common for all of you that are meeting this tool on your way, I can tell you that a couple of years ago I started signing up for the courses that had to do with spiritual development. I suppose I was looking for something, something that would fill me up because my life didn’t seem to do so.
From the others’ point of view I had a perfect life: family, health, work, money... and yet I had the feeling of not knowing where my life was going to, and what is even more important, I was willing to do something that would fill it and give it some sense. A few months before attending the workshop I had the feeling that something that I was waiting for was at last about to come. It was a mixture of confidence and certainty without really knowing why I felt this way.
When Chari, a friend of mine that was working in the centre where the course was going to be held, told me about José Luis I had an urge to attend the workshop although I had no idea what it was about or where exactly I was heading to. I remember the feeling that I had sitting there and listening to Libre (Free): it was the sensation of happiness and satisfaction, as if I had found that what I had been looking for. I felt that all that I came to believe in these last years was materializing in the words of Libre.
I was lucky to receive the first session of activating the energy of Love from the hands of José Luis, and I shall be forever grateful to him for coming my way and making me such a gift.
Now it’s been ten months that I am activating myself weekly, and my life has changed A LOT, as simple and as sure as that. Now I feel that I am on the way that I wanted to be on, and not on the one I was told to be. I realize that this way is not easy, like any other. There are difficult stages when our pain and the worst miseries show up, but if we know how to face them and to be stronger than them then we shall achieve something very valuable. We’ll live in LOVE. And, what is even more important, we’ll have a tool that helps us to grow, to free ourselves – and it is in our hands waiting for us to put it in the hands of those that have a feeling that something very big is coming their way.
